Frequently Asked Questions

Green plants symbolizing healing and transformation at Nourish Your Mind
  • The assessment session is a chance for us to get to know each other and understand what’s bringing you in. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. You’re not expected to share everything at once; this is a collaborative, supportive conversation and a space to ask any questions you may have.

  • Nourish Your Mind is a private-pay practice and does not accept insurance. Payment is due at the time of service and will be charged through your card on file in Simple Practice. Upon request, we can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We can also discuss offering a sliding scale price to accommodate.

  • The length of treatment varies from person to person and depends on your goals, needs, and what you’re working through. We’ll regularly check in together to ensure therapy continues to feel helpful and aligned with your goals.

  • Sessions are currently only offered virtually.

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. Over time, session frequency may change based on progress, goals, and what feels most supportive for you.
